Loom Knitting

A couple of years ago now, a friend of mine had one of these really cool knitting looms. So, I searched one out and found a set of different sizes. So, while my husband and I were on vacation (we stayed in a motel in Omaha last week for 3 nights & 4 days, with no children, to celebrate our 20th anniversary!), and while we were there, I decided I'd try out making a couple of hats. These aren't the nicest, but for my first tries, the kids sure are getting a kick out of them! :+)

I think the hats are adorable. I have never seen those looms. They look like they would make quick work of a hat. I will have to look around for one. We have organizations that knit or crochet hats for needy children.

Thanks for sharing.

Yes, the hats are really pretty quick to make. The set comes in a group of 4 of different sizes. And I got them at Walmart. And each hat takes one skein of yarn or less. I think it's great that you make hats for needy children!! That's terrific!

God Bless!
